First In-Game Trailer, New schedule for Early Access and Alpha Sessions
Hey there Colonists!
We hope you’re doing great! Today is a great milestone for ROKH: we are really proud to present you our first Official Gameplay Trailer.
We’ve have been working really hard for the past few months. Which results in a leap forward in the development of our main gameplay pillars: deep building crafting, scanning, harvesting, combat… We’ve also fine-tuned our greatest achievement on ROKH, especially since the arrival of Viktor Antonov in our team: our Mars’ map, environment & ambiance. Enjoy the in-game trailer here:
Initially planned for September 2016, the Early Access of the game has been postponed to ensure that the game delivers on the initial vision of the experience, universe and gameplay. ROKH is our first project and we do not lack of ambition. The game systems are so deep and connected that we want to take the time needed to ensure the entire experience and mechanics work as intended. It was not an easy decision but we believe it’s the best one for the game as well as the players. The game is now set to release in Early Access in January 2017.
Register at the bottom of our homepage to join the Closed Alpha and provide feedback on balancing beginning December and until release. Founders who bought the Martian Deluxe and Collector Editions will be guaranteed an exclusive access into the first sessions.
You can also join the community on Steam with our brand new Steam Page! Make sure to put ROKH in your Wishlist 😉
Stay tuned on our social channels and our website as we’ll continue to keep you updated regularly, we hope you’ll enjoy our first gameplay footage as much as we do.
See you really soon !

Sorry you did not find that attractive enough, but it’s a great milestone, and we are really happy to show ROKH’s gameplay for the first time! About the postponed release date and alpha sessions, we understand it’s a bit disappointing, but these additional months will help us to reach our expectations instead of providing an incomplete experience. Thanks for your understanding!

It looks amazing! Keep up the good work. Like what one of the other guys said. I would prefer this gameplay footage then a crappy unfinished launch.

Only a month of alpha? Wow, that’s bold. I was kind of expecting the alpha to be starting considerably sooner than that. Still, I’m sure you guys know what you’re doing.

Looks interesting so far. I would like to see more about the automation mechanics, and your atmosphere mechanics. I feel like this will really set you guys apart from Space engineers or Planet Nomads.

Argh, the wait. The hellish wait.
Do i have to also fill out the alpha registration if i have preordered or do i get in automatically?

For people who preordered the Martian Edition, we’ll add you automatically to the listing for closed alpha. If you bought the Martian Collector or Deluxe editions, you’re guaranteed to be part of the first closed alpha sessions.

Hey guys! Thanks for the update. I much rather see that than a crappy launch!
I hope the long-time backers of the KS and beyond will be considered for alpha access, too, now that this is getting delayed.. eh? 😉

Looking forward to seeing more gameplay, I hope there is a challenging aspect to the various gameplay elements. A lot of times, I slowly drift away from titles with survival aspects as once you’ve gotten the necessities the game becomes quite repetitive and easy moving forward.
